Gary Francis Kelley 72, of 258 Franklin St. North Adams, MA. died Tuesday January 1, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born in North Adams,MA. on May 2, 1940 a son of the late Jerome and Marguerite (Rancourt) Kelley, he graduated from Drury High School in 1958 and from Williams College in 1962. Mr. Kelley taught mathematics at Drury High School for 37 years retiring in 1999. He was a longtime communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams. He was a member of the Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association, the Retired State, County and Municipal Association of Massachusetts and the Williams College Alumni Association. Gary enjoyed working in his yard, traveling, and genealogy but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandson Daniel. Survivors include his wife Joyce (Elder) Kelley whom he married June 29, 1963 in St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams. Two daughters Beth A. Kelley-Morandi and her husband Marcus Morandi of North Adams, Jill A. Kelley-Solari and her husband Trent Solari of North Adams and one grandson Daniel Kelley Solari of North Adams. One brother Donald J. Kelley and his wife Carole Kelley of Bennington,VT. a niece Jacqueline Flynn of Williamstown and a nephew George Kelley of Leominster, MA., and grandnieces , grandnephews and several cousins. Funeral Services for Gary Francis Kelley will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4-7 P.M.
